Shipping & Delivery Policy
At Sovereign Business, we aim to deliver all available (in-stock) orders within 1-3 business days. However, some items may require a longer delivery timeframe. If an item has an extended delivery time, you have the right to cancel the order by emailing sales@sovereign-office.com before dispatch. Please note that any delivery or collection date provided is an estimate and is not legally binding. Bespoke or custom-ordered items cannot be returned.
Delivery Guidelines
- Large and Heavy Orders:
Some larger or heavy orders may be delivered on a pallet, which could result in a curbside delivery. You are responsible for taking the item(s) and packaging inside your home and disposing of the relevant delivery packaging.
- Delivery Times:
Delivery or collection times are not guaranteed and shall not be the essence of the contract. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of profit, economic loss, or business disruption) caused by delays in delivery or collection, regardless of the reason.
- Access Responsibility:
It is your responsibility to ensure all items can fit through internal and external access points, including doorways, stairwells, and passages leading to the final delivery destination. We are not responsible for items that do not fit within your premises. Any rework or restocking fees must be paid by you before final delivery is arranged.
Receiving and Inspecting Your Order
We make every effort to ensure that your item(s) arrive undamaged and in perfect condition. Upon delivery or collection, you are responsible for inspecting the item(s) to confirm:
- The correct quantity has been delivered.
- The item(s) are of satisfactory quality and free of visible defects or damage.
If you identify any discrepancies, you must:
- Notify us immediately upon delivery.
- Record the issue on the delivery note. Writing “unexamined” or “unchecked” will not be accepted.
- Retain all packaging if the item is damaged. Please refer to our Returns Policy https://sovereign-interiors.com/return-refund-policy/] for instructions on making a return.
Claims for loss or damage must be made no later than the end of the next working day following delivery. In every case, our liability for any fault or defect is limited to the purchase price of the item.
Additional Charges
- Buyer Damage:
If the item(s) are damaged due to actions by the buyer, the cost of replacement and any additional delivery charges will be payable by the buyer.
- Failed Deliveries:
If delivery is refused, the wrong item was ordered, or no one is available to receive the order, a redelivery charge will apply.
- Standard Delivery:
Goods will typically be delivered to the door only. We do not accept responsibility for damage caused while moving goods inside the premises.
Delivery Times and Couriers
Most orders are delivered between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. However, this may vary depending on the size, value, or courier service used. If you have specific delivery requirements, please contact us at sales@sovereign-office.com to discuss options.
